ABOUT THE PROJECT: 3000 Records is organizing a Co-Op CD project titled Radio Now! It is our goal that the Bands & Solo Artists on these CDs gain maximum exposure by getting their music considered for airplay and magazine reviews. The music is sent directly to radio station DJs, and magazine Writers who are genuinely interested. Think of this as a promotional vehicle transporting your music into the hands of people who can make a difference in your music career. This is the perfect tool to use for your own music promotional campaign, if not a campaign in itself.

The CD manufacturing, digital mastering, printed graphics, and promotional packaging will be of top quality. We create a professional looking product to promote with! From the Pro-Tools digital mastering by our professional sound Engineer to the Manufacturing service, we do not compromise quality! 

PREVIEW TRACK: The first track on the CD is a Preview Track containing several seconds of each band's song for preview. A typed DESCRIPTION OF EACH BAND is also included when sending CDs to our promotional contacts.

COST: The expenses of this project are shared by all Participants! We press up a separate regional Co-Op CD for each of the 2 regions we promote to. There is a minimal cost per Band or Solo Artist to participate! Sign up for just 1 region, or both regions for maximum exposure.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Question: What happens after I register to reserve my space?
Answer: Once you register, your reserved space on a Co-Op CD will be guaranteed. You have until the final deadline to send in your music on CD or CD-R, with your Participation Form, and final payment. You will also receive 100% support anytime you have questions.

Question: How many copies of the Co-Op CD can I order?
Answer: You may order 20 copies per region. You may sell your copies to earn some extra money, or give them away for promotion.

Question: What about Copyrights?
Answer: Participants will keep all rights to their own music. Should any Band or Solo Artist be offered a recording contract, or other offers later (management, publishing, etc....), there are no obligations to 3000 Records. Do let us know though, because we want your testimonial. Our Terms of Agreement are non-exclusive. That is the best kind of agreement out there!!! Though recommended, it is not a requirement to Copyright your music to participate in this Co-Op CD project. 

Question: Who else is going to be on the CD, and what are the music styles?
Answer: Most Bands and Solo Artists that will be participating are not considered "professional" so don't worry if your sound isn't perfected yet. Generally we have found the Bands and Solo Artists that choose to participate in our projects are enthusiastic and have a moderate to high quality sound. Since all music styles are welcome, many different songs of various music genres will be on the CD. 

Question: What if too many people sign up at once, or not enough people sign up by the deadline?
Answer: These CDs are organized by Volume Number (Example: *RADIO NOW!  Europe / Australia / Africa / Asia / Japan  (Vol. 2). If too many people sign up at once then they will get an immediate space reserved on the next Co-Op CD (the next volume number). If not enough people sign up, there will be a deadline extension to allow more Bands & Solo Artists to participate.

Question: How much time do I get on the CD? 
Answer: Songs must be 4 minutes or less. Due to limited space, there will be a minimal cost for songs that go over the time allowed.

Question: What expenses does 3000 Records incur?
Answer: We have many expenses in funding this project, and even the little things really add up. The list of expenses is as follows...

WELCOME TO RADIO NOW! by 3000 Records: It is necessary to have a legal agreement to do this sort of thing. Fortunately, it's a basic agreement. If you have any questions simply contact us.

Terms Of Agreement:

This agreement is entered into by Terrance Schemansky (3000 Records) and all participating bands (Participants) on a Co-Op CD (CD) to be released by 3000 Records with each Participant's original music.
I. 3000 Records will not be held responsible for: Lost copies of any music material (CD, CD-R, or other forms of media) in the mail.
II. Each Participant will reserve their space on the CD by completing step 1 in the Information Packet. Failure to send in forms, provide music for the CD, or pay the complete balance for any money owed will result in losing the reserved space on the CD.
III. Each Participant will keep full rights to their own music on the CD. Neither 3000 Records nor any Participants appearing on the CD has the right to reprint or reissue the CD in it's contents without consent of 3000 Records, each Participant, and song Owner with music on the CD. Participants and song Owners with music to be on the CD have all necessary consents, authorization and licensing to permit 3000 Records to include the song(s), names, and related information on the CD.
IV. Music material sent to 3000 Records will be returned to Participants upon request for a $5 handling free.
V. A minimum of 100 and up to 500 copies of each Co-Op CD will be manufactured depending on the copies ordered by the Participants.
VI. For each regional Co-Op CD released, 3000 Records will send the CD to a minimum of 50 college radio station and 10 magazine contacts. It is intended that these radio stations and magazine contacts will utilize the CD to it's maximum potential for promotion of the Participants, and that it will not be thrown away, or tossed aside. Copies of the CD (10 minimum) will be sent to members of the 3000 Records Street Team for promotional purposes. Participants may purchase the complete list of radio & magazine contacts for the compilation CD project being participated in.
VII. 3000 Records will promote Participants to at least one contest (by i.m Magazine), and other promotional opportunities that are currently available, including a CD Giveaway Contest where Co-Op CDs are given to winners (minimum of 10 winners per regional CD released).
VIII. Each Participant on the CD will receive 1 free reference copy of the CD, Band Description Sheet, Promotional Flyer, and 3000 Records Press Release.
VIIII. Each Participant on each regional CD may purchase 20 copies of each regional CD they participate on.
X. Participants may seek Sponsors to donate money to help fund expenses. Sponsorship donations may not exceed the total expenses of any Participants.
XI. Important: 3000 Records along with the Participant agrees that this CD may be sold at the price decided by the CD owners. $3 - $5 is the recommended sale price. No royalties shall be paid.

This agreement may be amended by mutual written agreement of the parties involved. Every artist, and song owner of music to be on the CD has read, understands, and agrees to these terms.
